Forgot to post back in early Feb. the winner of our #mocksibert. 3rd graders voted Diego by @darcypattison the best informational book that they read. Many thanks to @melissastewartscience and her #sibertsmackdown guides Ended up using the 3 “D’s” framework: Delight, Delight and Documentation from Melody Allen to evaluate our books.
Took a quick vid of books checked out as a class was leaving . #readgatorsread #letthemreadwhattheywant
So many thanks to @thebookwrangler who shared his women posters last year! A year later and we have an interactive display. Students read, researched and created the bios behind each woman. Lift or flip for more info. Thanks for being such a great inspiration and sharing freely @thebookwrangler! The kids can’t stop lifting and learning! #womenshistorymonth #bettertogether
It’s Women’s History Month and we’re doing a school-wide March Bio Book Madness competition. Check out our starting 16 contenders!
