Each student wrote or copied a poem onto a scroll to share today. You may find it in the bottom of a backpack or in the pocket of some pants while doing laundry….but hopefully your child shared their poem with you when they got home today! In the library, we read our poems in many different ways to partners and some even had their poem memorized by the time they left! If your child didn’t have library, their poems were hopefully distributed by their teachers. Happy poem sharing! #keepapoeminyourpocket #poetryrules #readgatorsread #poeminyourpocketday

Gators are loving these reads! Students can place holds by writing the request in our hold notebook or by logging into http://bit.ly/gatorbooks. This year we are only requesting holds on books that we can't find on the shelves or are out in the catalog. #holdshelf #readgatorsread
